Minimise Pores with Safe Skincare Routine

Pores are small little openings on the skin. These openings secrete oil and sweat via Sebaceous Glands.
It’s hard to understand the mechanism behind pore formation, but for now all you have to know is they are seen easily on skin in summers.

Oil Pores: These are associated with skin’s hair follicles. They produce oil which is known as Sebum.
When the skin has to go through a lot of sun exposure and heat, then skin pores dilate (open up), and this causes enlarged skin pores.
Sebum is important for skin as well; it might be shocking that how is oil important for our skin.
 • Sweat Pores:
These pores are very tiny.
Present on the skin surfaces including palm, groin, armpits.

HOW TO MINIMISE PORES

As you all know we humans go through a process called Aging, and old people do not have and oily skin/face. Have you seen? No
So before I suggest you some remedies, I should tell you that sebum is equally important.
It makes the skin supple, moisturized and healthy in a natural way.

1. FACE CLEANSER

Using a sulphate free cleanser will help to reduce the oil from the skin.
Use a non-foaming face cleanser, these face cleansers will remove the excess oil from the pores and keep them tight after use. These cleansers also help the skin not to lose all the oil required.

2. USE SCRUBS

Using scrubs on your skin will remove the excess of oil and Unevenness of the skin.
It will smooth out the irregular surfaces of your skin including small acne and blackheads.
And DO NOT FOLLOW THE MYTH.
It doesn’t matter if you use SCRUBS DAILY!
Of course, you can after your cleanser or along with your cleanser.
Use dry scrubs, do not oil based scrubs.
You can use some scrubs based on Vitamin C, find effective homemade scrubs on my blog.

2. ASTRINGENT TONER

You may wonder what is an Astringent?
Astringent is a chemical which constricts the pores of skin as they keep your pores closed for long hours. You won’t need to wipe out the skin more often.
It is also a part of Korean skin care; astringent toners are easily available in the stores and online as well.

3. SHEET MASKS

It’s a real headache to decide what should we do about it.
Let me clearly tell you sheet masks works a tad better than face masks.
These are full of antioxidants, hydrating elements and pore tighteners. Sheets masks can be used thrice or twice a week or even once.

4. FULLER’S CLAY AND ALOE VERA

This clay has a pleasant smell, it closes pores and sooths the inflammation. Fullers Earth Clay can be used with lemon juice and Aloe vera gel. Aloe vera is a natural remedy for skin problems, as it cools the skin and reduces redness.
If you are ideally sitting inside the house, you can always apply raw aloe vera plant gel on your face.

5. MOISTURIZE

Moisturizing is the crucial part of skin pores.
Even if you have an oily skin due to large pores then use a gel-based moisturizer. Gel moisturizers are really good they are non-greasy, light and can be easily absorbed.
It’s good for pores because it lets them breathe and do not clog the pores and as we know clogged pores can cause pimples.
