100% Acne free skin with Homemade Scrubs

Homemade scrubs are the best exfoliants for our face because they do not have any harmful chemical in them.

Homemade scrubs contain active ingredients which can directly be applied on the skin. These active ingredients are natural skincare ingredients which are highly concentrated with vitamins and minerals. To make a good scrub it is very essential to combine correct ingredients together according to the skin type. There are many skin problems which are individual, therefore we need to understand the type of our skin and then make scrubs accordingly.

Adding scrub into our skincare routine is necessary as it removes the dead skin cell and with every wash our face starts to glow, and our skin clears up.

These homemade scrubs are quite exfoliating and work best on non-inflamed skin. If you’re dealing with active, red, or flaring acne, it’s essential to treat your skin gently. Avoid physical exfoliation in such cases and consider seeking professional dermatological advice. Your skin needs healing, not harsh scrubbing during flare-ups.

1. Vitamin C Scrub

Vitamin C is an essential skin vitamin as it provides tons of benefits to the skin. Lemon has a load of vitamin C, antioxidants and ascorbic acid. Therefore, helps the skin from sun damage and from free radical damage.
Lemon also has bleaching effect which helps to lighten the skin tone. Another ingredient that we are using is rice.
Rice is used as a key ingredient in Korean beauty and it reduces premature aging and tightens up the sagging skin. It also adds up a glow and radiance to your face.
Rice also works as a base for most of the face scrubs and body scrubs.
HOW TO MAKE:
Grind rice, keep it aside. Now take the lemons and cut them into wheel shape.
Allow them to dry completely in the sun, and when they’re done grind them as well.
Mix them together with gram flour and store in the refrigerator.
this scrub can be used for up to 2 months, it is also good for oily skin.

2. Neem Scrub

As we all know neem has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties. So, it really helps you to get rid of the acne.
Rice again has anti-aging properties and is used as a base in this face scrub.
Oranges are a good source of vitamin C, thiamin, folate and potassium.

HOW TO MAKE:

All you need to do is dry Neem leaves and orange peels until they break with a little pressure with fingers.
When they turn dry grind them with rice. Keep the 3 of the ingredients in same ratio 1:1:1.

3. Rose Scrub

Roses exhibit anti-inflammatory properties that helps to reduce redness, irritated skin, acne, dermatitis and eczema. It helps to maintain the skin pH balance and also controls excess oil production. Rose has antioxidant which keeps our skin healthy from inside.

HOW TO MAKE:

You don’t need to dry the roses.

All you need to do is ground rice and the Rose petals in a mixer and if the roses do not break into tiny, small pieces then grind/rub them together with your fingers. Add brown sugar at last.
Keep this scrub stored in the fridge and it will last for 1 month.
